How many times have you dreamed with your sim sitting in the Iron Throne and ruling the Seven Kingdoms?

Who said that dominating the Seven Kingdoms was complicated? With this imposing stone fortress, your sims will dominate King’s Landing without leaving the bed.

Sitting from his small lounge, your sims will see the ships entering the port and control everything that happens in town.

Since the fortress was built, the Iron Throne has stayed in the throne room. A platform raises the seat above all the people. The throne is wrought with lots of sharp swords, giving it a cold, hard character. Its appearance is assimilated to the character of the monarch who should sit on it.

The hall has long rows of columns that frame the central area and help highlight the presence of the throne. Long windows favor the entry of light and help appease the atmosphere of the room.

Well I guess more than one of you would like the idea of your sim having more realistic tattoos, but you realize that it is very difficult to find them or simply they don’t exist.

You no longer need to worry about the endless pursuit of tattoos. In this tutorial I’m going to teach you how to make your own tattoos in a few simple steps.

Para comenzar necesitaremos lo siguiente:

• Photoshop
• Paint .NET or .DDS Plugin
• Sims 4 Studio
• Body Textures
• Tattoo images

Before we start, I recommend you that the images you use to create the tattoos in The Sims have to be in png format, preferably those with transparent background. These will be appropriate, since they don’t have imperfections on the edges and will make our work easier.

1. Sims 4 Studio

1. Open sims 4 studio and select the option to create new mask from catalog and click the CAS.
2. In the next window we have to select the gender, age and type of content.
3. When all the tattoos the game contains appear, select the one you want and click next.
4. 4. Save the file appears in a new folder, then click in Export and save the file in the folder you just created.

2. Photoshop & Paint

1. Open the dds file with the paint.net program, and save it as a PNG. “File-save as…- (name) png-saving, and in the next window do not touch anything and accept”
2. Now we are going to work with Photoshop. Open the texture of the body in order to place the tattoo area.
3. Now place the tattoo image that we want. “File-place embedded elements - –seek the image-accept”
4. Now in the layers section, select the layer with the tattoo and press the ctrl + j keys to duplicate it
   Work on the copied layer and then blind the original layer, removing the eye on the left side.
5. We continue with the copied layer selected and press the E key and to have the eraser tool and remove the original tattoo. After this we should only see the texture of the sim completely clean.
6. On the same copied layer, we will place the tattoo image we want to create with the same procedure we followed in step 3.
   
   It is quite possible that the tattoo image you downloaded is too big, but this can be easily fixed. To scale the image, press the alt + shif keys and from the corner of the image we make it smaller. When you have the ideal size, click Enter. If you think you still need to edit it, repeat the procedure.
   (press ctrl + t to select)
   when you see that the image is added and has a large x in the middle, just press Enter
7. In order to move the image after scaling it, make sure you have selected the layer of the tattoo image and then we press the v key to move it and place it where we want.
8. If you have already positioned correctly the tattoo, we will now play with the layers to save our work. We have to blind the texture layer of the body and maintain without the eye visible the original tattoo layer, remaining this way.
   
   
    
9. Finally save the PNG file in the folder you created, with a new name to know which one is the new tattoo.

3. Paint .NET + Sims 4 Studio

1. Open the png file we saved with paint.net
2. Then without moving anything we do the following:
   file-save as-and select the last format that says .dds
3. A saving configuration window will open. It is very important that you mark the following:
   DXT5 (interpolated alpha channel)
   compressor type: group setting
   error metric: perceptive
   Additional options: create mip maps 

4. Sims 4 Studio

1. Select the option to import.
2. Find the dds file you saved with paint.net.

And ready! You finished your first tattoo.

P.S. Your package file was saved on top of the first file you saved when you opened the sims 4 studio.

In just a few months, your channel will celebrate its first birthday! You have managed to gain more than 9000 subscribers in that short period of time. What do you think has been the key to gaining such popularity?
When I started my YouTube channel almost a year ago, I set goal for myself to reach 1,000 subscribers (or hoe I call my subscribers, “Springsters”) by my first year on YouTube. By this time, I wasn’t expecting to surpass my goal of 1K. The time I’ve been YouTube, I learned that the key to success is to have originality and creativity in your own way. My motto for me is ‘always stay true to yourself’.

Why did you decided to open a YouTube channel about The Sims?
I’ve decided to start a YouTube channel about The Sims because ever since I was little around the age of 6 I’ve always wanted to do something that had to deal with art. Art allowed me to express my feelings in any shape or form. Since I had the Sims, I’ve felt that the game has allowed me to play with life and tell stories the way I wanted to.

When did you start playing The Sims? How did you discover the existence of the game?
I started playing The Sims when I was five years old in the year 2001. I discovered The Sims one day I went to the electronics section of a store. I have been always obsessed with gaming - since I was three! I know I was young, but you got to start somewhere, don’t you?

What type of Sims player are you?
I could say that I’m more of a Lets Player who likes to tell stories and add some drama to make them more interesting, as well to keep my viewers engaged.

Which videos do you enjoy the most recording?
I mainly enjoy recording my Let’s Plays because I love telling stories to make my series more interesting to the best of my ability.

On Saturday 1st August, the city of London held the Simmers Meetup, an event where Simmers from all the places were brought together to meet each other and share their passion for The Sims.

At the head of the organazation of the event we find Dan (BeyondSims), Maaike (anteriormente Platinum Simmers) and Rachael (Rachybop), who did a great job as everything went out perfectly.

“My inpiration for this kitchen was a kitchen that I saw in an apartment in Stockholm. Weeks later I still had it in my mind so I just started to build it. Some posters in that kitchen are on Swedish because i live here in Sweden. I find it very Scadinavian, a very popular style here.”

The bed is the must-piece of furniture in the house, the only one which is indispensable, the protagonist of the bedroom. A bed must be king-size, comfortable..., and must be a decorative element too during the day, when it’s not used. That’s why I usually dress them beautiful quilts and fluffy cushions.

Another essential item in a feminine bedroom, in the case we like to get dressed up, is an enormous dresser, the perfect place to get ready to go out and keep our makeup, lotions and perfumes organized.

I cannot forget to mention one of the greatest elements of the room, the spacious walk-in wardrobe. How has never wanted one of these?

For me, a romantic terrace would be the perfect complement for the bedroom of my dreams. I would certainly organize lots of breakfast and romantic dinners here!
